Understanding Adolescent Project

Understanding Adolescent Project - Introduction
1To help students acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes when facing adversities
2To enhance students’ resilience in coping with the challenges they have to face as they grow up

The Understanding Adolescent Project (Primary) is an extension to the Secondary School Understanding Adolescent Project. The project refers to the models of adolescent growth in Bernard's research on resilience, which are then integrated into the project's framework. Key themes of the project include the three elements of resilience and concepts of work.

3 Elements of Resilience

  • Sense of Competence
  • Sense of  Belonging
  • Sense of Optimism
